Microsoft Announces Windows 11
Microsoft confirmed the release of Windows 11 in their Windows event today. Before the confirmation, there has been a lot of leaks of Windows 11 including what it looks like, and more.
There are new updates to what the interface looks like, for example, the start menu. Below are some photos
The new start menu includes live tiles which were introduced back in Windows 8. As you see in the photo, there are Pinned apps, recommended apps, and more.
Microsoft also embedded teams into the system instead of downloading the teams app (see example below)
There is also a new feature called ‘Snap Layouts’ which will allow you to customize windows into various modes. There will also be a feature called snap groups as well (see the feature below)
The final feature we want you to know is that you can use ANDROID APPS on your windows computer! The Windows Microsoft Store will support apps that haven’t been on windows 10 and will support android apps (See screenshot below).
Windows 11 sounds exciting! We don’t have a release date yet, but we are expecting to get it around October.
